It’s hard to be the best at anything in NYC but according to the Huffington Post, Westville’s Mac and Cheese is tops.  That’s right; we were voted best Mac and Cheese in all of NYC!  Those who already frequent it on the menu probably aren’t surprised that this “creamy, silky, smoky miracle” got the highest of marks.  Check out the article and happy cheesin’!

In celebration of the long-awaited, sure-to-be animated blockbuster hit Kung Fu Panda 2, we would love to tell you about Westville’s catering service!

Are you planning a big meal and want a solution for your carnivore and vegetarian patrons?  We are now offering our delicious hearty food for catering to large parties and private events.  Food is served buffet style in half or full size catering trays (12” or 24”), which allows you to have a large variety of items and a more colorful and appetizing spread.

How it works:  We individually build you a quote with suggested items based on your guidelines, just email us at catering@westvillenyc.com.

Please note that our catering style is built to accommodate parties of 25 or more.  If your party is smaller than 25 people please don’t hesitate to contact one of our restaurants for pick-up or delivery options.

Warm Weather Westville

As the weather hopefully, maybe, perhaps at some point starts to heat up, expect to see a few small changes and additions here at Westville.

We are looking forward to opening our outdoor seating at our East and Chelsea locations.  Nothing’s better than enjoying a market plate and soaking up some rays.  Also, Spike, Rover, Fluffy, or whatever your dog’s name happens to be, can join you while you sip a mint lemonade and wonder how our carrot cake can always hit the spot just right.

In order to celebrate the LA type of weather that we are about to experience, our market will soon be getting a face lift.  We must say goodbye to a few of our starchy friends, squash and sweet potato, and welcome in our lighter and cooler additions like cucumber dill, some assorted fruit salads, and our tomato, basil and mozzarella salad.

So come to Westville and spend some of your long summer nights with our waitresses and their short summer skirts.

Yes, these are all true facts,  but by far the most exciting is that all of Westville’s desserts are homemade.  Our bakery is housed at Westville Chelsea, and it distributes fresh baked pies and cookies to our other locations every single morning for your desserting pleasure!  The demand is so high for our desserts that we decided to share the love by selling them at some of your local coffee shops.  They are so popular that if Westville was a high school they would be the star quarterback and head cheerleader.

The East side has been spotlighting Hominy as a key component in some of soups lately.  This includes our pozole and hominy lentil vegetable.  These soups have not only been stirring up people’s hunger but also their interest in this unfamiliar ingredient.  Even we had to look it up.
